Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon Psyllium husk powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt (unsweetened, full-fat)
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Za'atar spice blend
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Water (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure there are no clumps.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, Greek yogurt, and olive oil until smooth and combined.

Step 4

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly to form a dough. If the dough feels too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of water to help bring it together.

Step 5

Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a flat, round shape about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 6

Remove the top sheet of parchment paper. Sprinkle the za'atar spice blend evenly over the surface of the dough and gently press it into the dough using your hands or a rolling pin.

Step 7

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the za'atar topping for added texture and flavor.

Step 8

Transfer the parchment with the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the bread feels firm to the touch.

Step 10

Remove from the oven and allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing into wedges or pieces.

Step 11

Serve warm or at room temperature with your favorite keto-friendly dips, such as hummus made with cauliflower or olive tapenade.
