Ingredients

  • 4 cups Cauliflower florets
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cups White cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated (optional for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until they are fork-tender. Drain the cauliflower well and set aside.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.

Step 3

Gradually add the shredded white cheddar cheese and cream cheese to the saucepan, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Step 4

Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning as needed.

Step 5

Add the cooked cauliflower florets to the cheese sauce and gently stir to coat all the florets in the sauce.

Step 6

Optional: Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, and broil for 2-3 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.

Step 7

Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
