  • 500 grams chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 200 grams, sliced cremini or white mushrooms
  • 200 milliliters heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon, or to taste salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon, or to taste black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons, finely chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken breast into thin strips or bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear until golden on both sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft and translucent.
