Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Sirloin steak
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Cheese wraps (store-bought or homemade)
  • 0.5 cup Guacamole
  • 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 0.5 cup Cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 0.25 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 4 pieces Lime wedges

Directions

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Season both sides of the steak with garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Place the steak in the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness (125°F for medium-rare, 135°F for medium).

Step 4

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the steak into thin strips.

Step 5

While the steak rests, prepare the cheese wraps. If using store-bought wraps, set them aside. If making homemade, melt shredded cheese into a circular shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow it to cool slightly until pliable.

Step 6

Lay each cheese wrap flat on a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of guacamole in the center of the wrap.

Step 7

Top the guacamole with a romaine lettuce leaf, a few slices of steak, cherry tomatoes, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro.

Step 8

Gently fold the sides of the cheese wrap inward, then roll it from the bottom like a burrito.

Step 9

Repeat the process for the remaining wraps.

Step 10

Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
