Ingredients

  • 450 grams Fresh spinach
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 120 milliliters Heavy cream
  • 85 grams Cream cheese, softened
  • 120 grams Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 60 grams Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoons Olive oil or butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and grease an 8x8-inch casserole dish with olive oil or butter.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil or butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 3

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Drain any excess liquid and set aside.

Step 4

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and softened cream cheese. Mix until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.

Step 5

Stir in the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, onion powder, ground nutmeg, salt, and black pepper.

Step 6

Add the cooked spinach to the egg mixture and stir until evenly combined.

Step 7

Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread it out evenly.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the center and golden brown on top.

Step 9

Allow the casserole to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
