Ingredients

  • 200 grams Shirataki noodles
  • 150 grams Chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon Gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang (Korean chili paste, keto-friendly)
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for stricter keto)
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 50 grams Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 stalks Green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the shirataki noodles by rinsing them thoroughly under cold water for 2-3 minutes to remove any odor. Boil them in water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.

Step 2

Cut the chicken breast into thin strips or bite-sized pieces.

Step 3

Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4

Lower the heat to medium, then stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 5

In a small bowl, combine the gochugaru, gochujang, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), sesame oil, and chicken broth. Mix well to create the spicy sauce.

Step 6

Pour the spicy sauce into the skillet with the cooked chicken and stir to coat the chicken evenly.

Step 7

Add the prepared shirataki noodles to the skillet and toss them in the spicy sauce, ensuring the noodles are well-coated.

Step 8

Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the noodles and chicken. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.

Step 9

Remove the skillet from heat and garnish the dish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

Step 10

Serve immediately and enjoy your Keto Spicy Buldak Noodles!
