Ingredients

  • 250 grams Ground pork
  • 150 grams Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 30 grams Almond flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 12 medium-sized Cabbage leaves

Directions

Step 1

Chop the shrimp into small pieces and set aside.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, almond flour, 1 beaten egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Step 4

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Blanch the cabbage leaves for 30 seconds to 1 minute until softened, then remove them and pat dry with a kitchen towel.

Step 5

Place a cabbage leaf on a flat surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of the cabbage leaf.

Step 6

Fold the edges of the leaf around the filling to form a pouch, leaving the top open. Repeat with remaining cabbage leaves and filling.

Step 7

In a steaming basket or steamer, arrange the dumplings in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.

Step 8

Steam the dumplings over boiling water for about 12-15 minutes or until the filling is cooked through.

Step 9

Once cooked, remove from the steamer and serve immediately with soy sauce or your choice of dipping sauce.
