Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 8 thin slices Turkey slices
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese (for spread)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 cups mozzarella cheese and 2 tablespoons cream cheese. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well and microwave for another 30 seconds until fully melted.

Step 3

Add 1 cup almond flour and 1 beaten egg to the cheese mixture. Stir to combine into a smooth dough.

Step 4

Place the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper and cover with another piece of parchment. Roll the dough into a rectangle approximately 10x14 inches.

In a small bowl, mix 4 ounces of cream cheese, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano, 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, 0.25 teaspoon salt, and 0.25 teaspoon black pepper until smooth.

Spread the cream cheese mixture over the rolled dough, leaving a 1-inch border free around the edges.

Evenly layer 8 slices of turkey and 8 slices of provolone cheese over the spread mixture.

Starting from one of the longer edges, carefully roll up the dough into a tight log using the parchment paper to help guide the process. Refrigerate the log for 10 minutes for easier cutting.

Cut the chilled log into approximately 16 pinwheels and place them on the prepared baking sheet with some space in between each pinwheel.
