Ingredients

  • 0.5 pound Ground pork sausage
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 Avocado, sliced (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Begin by dividing the ground pork sausage into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a flat patty approximately 4 inches in diameter.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the sausage patties into the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F). Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In a small bowl, beat the eggs with salt and black pepper.
