Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Rinse and pat dry the whole chicken with paper towels.
Cut the lemon in half and place one half inside the chicken cavity along with two whole garlic cloves.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, the juice from the remaining lemon half, minced garlic from the other three cloves, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Carefully separate the chicken skin from the breast meat using your fingers, then spread half of the oil mixture under the skin.
Use the remaining oil mixture to coat the outside of the chicken thoroughly.
Chop rosemary and thyme, then sprinkle over the chicken and radishes.
Wash and cut radishes in half, then toss them in a bowl with a little olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place the chicken on a roasting pan, and arrange the radishes around the chicken.
Roast in the oven for about 70 minutes or until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
