  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro (chopped, optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in the minced garlic, cumin, and smoked paprika, and cook for another 2 minutes or until fragrant.

Step 4

Add the drained black soybeans to the skillet, stirring to combine with the onion mixture.
