Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized daikon radish
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Peel the daikon radishes and cut them into thick fry-like sticks, approximately 1/4 inch in thickness.

Step 3

In a large bowl, toss the daikon fries with olive oil until they are evenly coated.

Step 4

In a separate small bowl, combine the almond flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

Step 5

Add the seasoning mixture to the daikon fries and toss them until all fries are well coated with the seasoning.

Step 6

Spread the seasoned fries on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer to ensure even baking.

Step 7

Bake the fries for 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through baking to ensure crispiness on both sides.

Step 8

Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and begins to brown slightly.

Step 9

Let the fries cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them as a crispy, flavorful keto-friendly snack or side dish.
