Ingredients

  • 250 grams Ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon Psyllium husk powder
  • 10 large Cabbage leaves
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks Green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 100 ml Coconut oil, for frying

Directions

Step 1

Begin by blanching the cabbage leaves in boiling water for 1 minute to soften them, then set aside to cool.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, egg, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 3

Lay a softened cabbage leaf on a clean surface and place about a tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the center of the leaf.

Step 4

Fold the sides of the cabbage leaf over the filling, then roll gently to seal the edges, forming a neat package. Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.

Step 5

Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, begin frying the wrapped pangsit in batches, about 4-5 pieces at a time, depending on the size of your pan.

Step 6

Fry each pangsit for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the cabbage is golden brown and the chicken is cooked through.

Step 7

Remove the fried pangsit from the pan and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Step 8

Serve hot as an appetizer or a low-carb snack. Enjoy your Keto Pangsit!
