Ingredients

  • 200 grams Paneer
  • 100 grams Cabbage
  • 100 grams Coconut flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 medium Green chili
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 60 ml Water
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander leaves

Directions

Step 1

Grate the paneer and finely chop the cabbage, ginger, garlic, and green chili. Set these aside for the filling.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the grated paneer, chopped cabbage, ginger, garlic, and green chili.

Step 3

Add red chili powder, salt, pepper, and coriander leaves into the mixture. Mix well and set aside.

Step 4

In another bowl, sift the coconut flour and add a pinch of salt. Create a well in the center and add the eggs.

Step 5

Slowly add water while mixing to form a dough. It should be smooth and pliable. If too dry, add a little more water, sparingly.

Step 6

Lightly dust a surface with coconut flour and roll out the dough thinly (about 2mm thick).

Step 7

Use a round cutter or a glass to cut out circular shapes from the rolled dough.

Step 8

Place about a tablespoon of the paneer filling in the center of each circle.

Step 9

Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal. If needed, use a little water to dampen the edges to ensure they stick.

Step 10

Heat butter in a steamer or a heavy-bottomed pan. Arrange the momos in a single layer.

Step 11

Steam the momos for about 10-12 minutes until the dough is cooked through.

Step 12

Serve hot with a side of keto-friendly dipping sauce.
