Ingredients

  • 100 grams Raw almonds
  • 50 grams Raw hazelnuts
  • 30 grams Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 30 grams Erythritol
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 60 milliliters Unsweetened almond milk
  • 30 grams Unflavored protein powder (whey or plant-based)
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the raw almonds and hazelnuts evenly on a baking sheet.

Step 2

Toast the nuts in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Allow them to cool slightly.

Step 3

Once cooled, transfer the toasted nuts to a food processor. Process on high speed for 3-5 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed until a smooth nut butter forms.

Step 4

Add unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract, erythritol, coconut oil, almond milk, protein powder, and a pinch of salt to the food processor.

Step 5

Blend the mixture for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and the spread is smooth and creamy.

Step 6

Taste the spread and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more erythritol to suit your taste.

Step 7

Transfer the Keto Nutty Chocolate Protein Spread to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Step 8

Serve as a spread on keto-friendly bread, as a dip for fruits like strawberries, or enjoy straight from the jar!
