Ingredients

  • 500 ml Water
  • 2 tablespoons Black tea leaves
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  • 4 pods Green cardamom pods
  • 3 pieces Whole cloves
  • 1 piece Star anise
  • 1 inch, sliced Fresh ginger
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 120 ml Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Erythritol or preferred keto-friendly sweetener
  • 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 5 pieces Black peppercorns

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, bring 500 ml of water to a rolling boil.

Step 2

Add the black tea leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, star anise, ginger slices, nutmeg, and peppercorns to the boiling water.

Step 3

Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes to allow the spices to infuse into the tea.

Step 4

Add the heavy cream and erythritol to the saucepan and stir well. Increase the heat and return to a gentle boil.
