Ingredients

  • 500 grams Bottle Gourd (Loki)
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee or Coconut Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Green Chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, finely grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Coriander Leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Directions

Step 1

Peel the bottle gourd, then cut it into small cubes of about 1-inch size.

Step 2

Heat the ghee or coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.

Step 3

Add the finely chopped green chilies and grated ginger to the pan. Stir-fry for about a minute until fragrant.

Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Stir swiftly to combine with the other ingredients.
