Ingredients

  • 4 pieces seabass fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Rinse the seabass fillets under cold water and gently pat dry with paper towels.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, juice of half the lemon, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.

Step 4

Chop the fresh parsley and thyme finely, then add to the marinade.

Step 5

Place the seabass fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure each fillet is well coated with the marinade. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.

Step 6

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the marinated seabass fillets on the lined baking sheet, spaced evenly.

Step 7

Slice the remaining half of the lemon into thin rounds and place them over the seabass fillets for an extra hint of lemony freshness.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 9

Garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
