Ingredients

  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 0.25 cup Coconut flour
  • 0.25 cup Psyllium husk powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Xanthan gum
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, salt, and xanthan gum.

Step 3

In another bowl, whisk the eggs and add in apple cider vinegar, warm water, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously until a dough forms.

Let the dough sit for 5 minutes to allow the psyllium husk to absorb the moisture.

Divide the dough into three equal parts. Roll each portion into a long rope, about 16 inches long.

Place the three ropes side by side and pinch them together at one end. Start to braid the dough, pinching the opposite end when finished.
