Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 0.25 cup Coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon Psyllium husk powder
  • 1 teaspoon Xanthan gum
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup Boiling water
  • 0.5 pound Ground pork
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for strict keto)
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Green onions
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, and xanthan gum. Mix well.

Step 2

Add the egg and cream cheese to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Step 3

Slowly pour in the boiling water while stirring continuously until the dough becomes elastic. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4

Meanwhile, prepare the filling: In another bowl, mix ground pork, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, finely chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper.

Step 5

Take a small portion of dough and flatten it between two sheets of parchment paper until it becomes a thin circle about 3 inches in diameter.

Step 6

Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of the dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal.

Step 7

Repeat the dough-rolling and filling process until all the dough and filling are used.

Step 8

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Carefully place dumplings in the pan, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

Step 9

Fry the dumplings until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 10

Add a splash of water to the pan and cover to steam the dumplings for an additional 5 minutes, or until the filling is cooked through.

Step 11

Serve hot, optionally with a dipping sauce made of soy sauce, vinegar, and a touch of sesame oil.
