Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 0.5 cup Paneer (grated)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup Erythritol
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Rose water
  • 1 pinch Saffron strands
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

In a bowl, mix together almond flour, grated paneer, baking powder, cardamom powder, and ghee until a crumbly texture forms.

Step 2

Add the heavy cream gradually into the mixture and knead until it transforms into a smooth dough.

Step 3

Divide the dough into equal small portions and shape them into smooth, round balls. Ensure there are no cracks.

Step 4

In a pan, heat vegetable oil on medium heat. Once hot, shallow fry the dough balls until golden brown. Ensure to fry them evenly by turning them occasionally.

To make the syrup, in a separate pot, combine erythritol and water. Bring to a boil and stir until the erythritol fully dissolves.

Reduce the heat and add the rose water and saffron. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
