Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Wagyu beef patties
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 8 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 sliced Large tomato
  • 1 sliced Red onion
  • 1 sliced Avocado
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Ground garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and ground garlic powder to make a sauce. Set aside.

Step 3

Season the wagyu beef patties with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Step 4

Add olive oil to the preheated grill or skillet. Place the patties in, careful not to overcrowd, and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.

Step 5

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cover the grill or skillet to let the cheese melt, cooking for another 3-4 minutes for medium doneness.

Step 6

In the last minute of cooking, add butter to the skillet and baste the burgers for extra richness.

Step 7

Remove the patties from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.

Step 8

Prepare the burger by placing a lettuce leaf on a plate, followed by a cheese-topped wagyu patty.

Step 9

Top with a slice of tomato, a ring of red onion, and an avocado slice.

Step 10

Spread a spoonful of the mayonnaise-Dijon sauce over another lettuce leaf and place on top to complete the burger.

Step 11

Serve each burger on individual plates and enjoy the gourmet, keto-friendly experience.
