Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese and shredded mozzarella. Microwave on high for about 1 minute or until fully melted, stirring occasionally.
Add almond flour, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the melted cheese. Mix until a uniform dough forms.
Divide the dough into 4 equal sections and roll each section into a long rope about 1/2-inch thick on a lightly floured surface. Cut each rope into 1-inch pieces to form gnocchi.
Place gnocchi pieces onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden.
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
