Ingredients

  • 300 grams Ground pork
  • 120 grams Almond flour
  • 200 grams Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions, finely sliced
  • 50 grams Cabbage, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a pan over medium heat, lightly saute the minced garlic and grated ginger for about 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, sauteed garlic and ginger, green onions, chopped cabbage, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.

Step 3

In another bowl, combine shredded mozzarella cheese and almond flour. Microwave for about 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.

Step 4

Add the egg to the melted cheese and almond flour mixture and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a clean surface for a few minutes until it's smooth.

Step 5

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll each piece into a ball. Flatten each ball into a circle, about 3 inches in diameter, using a rolling pin or your hands.

Step 6

Place a spoonful of the pork filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal and form a dumpling.

Step 7

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the dumplings and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
