Ingredients

  • 250 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 150 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 10 g Fresh basil leaves
  • 60 ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 15 ml Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Wash and pat dry the cherry tomatoes. Cut them each in half and place them in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Drain the mozzarella cheese. If using mozzarella balls, chop them into halves or quarters depending on their size. Add them to the bowl with tomatoes.

Step 3

Wash the fresh basil leaves, pat them dry, and then stack and roll them into a cigar shape. Slice into thin strips (chiffonade) and add to the bowl.

Step 4

In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt, and black pepper until well combined.
