  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 0.25 cup Coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon Xanthan gum
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 large Egg
  • 3 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Cold water
  • 0 Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon of water)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, xanthan gum, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and cut it into the mixture using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the egg and cream cheese until well combined.
