Ingredients

  • 500 grams Beef or Goat Meat
  • 200 grams Stockfish
  • 200 grams Fresh Shrimps
  • 200 grams Prawns
  • 100 grams Periwinkle (optional)
  • 0.5 cup Palm Oil
  • 200 grams Waterleaf
  • 300 grams Ugwu (Pumpkin Leaves)
  • 2 tablespoons Crayfish
  • 2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 pieces Garlic Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cubes Seasoning Cubes
  • 1 liter Water

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot, combine the beef or goat meat, stockfish, and about 500 ml of water. Add chopped onions, crushed garlic, and salt. Boil on medium heat for 15 minutes until the meat is tender.

Step 2

While the meat is cooking, wash and slice the waterleaf and Ugwu (pumpkin leaves) thinly. Set aside.

Step 3

Add the palm oil to the pot with the meat and stockfish, stirring well. Let it cook for 5 minutes over low heat.

Add the crayfish, pepper, shrimps, prawns, and optional periwinkle to the pot. Stir well and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
