Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Almond flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 cup Lettuce
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Lime

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, chili powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and pepper. Stir well and set aside.

Step 3

In a bowl, combine almond flour, 1 tsp salt, cheddar cheese, and egg to create a dough for the tortillas.

Step 4

On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Flatten each part into a circle, approximately 6 inches in diameter.

Step 5

Bake the tortillas in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden and crisp.

Step 6

Dice the tomato and shred the lettuce. Peel and slice the avocado, and cut lime into wedges.

Step 7

Assemble the tacos by placing ground beef in the center of each baked tortilla, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced avocado, and a dollop of sour cream.

Step 8

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side and enjoy this keto-friendly twist on a classic favorite.
