Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground pork
  • 2 cups Cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 medium Carrot, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions, sliced
  • 8 pieces Egg wraps (keto-friendly, e.g. egg thins or wraps made from eggs and almond flour)
  • 0.5 cup Coconut oil or avocado oil for frying
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground pork. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 2

Add the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced green onions to the skillet. Cook until the cabbage is tender, about 4-5 minutes.

Step 3

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the skillet from heat and let the filling cool slightly.

Step 4

Lay one egg wrap on a flat surface. Place a heaping spoonful of the filling mixture in the center of the wrap.

Fold the sides over the filling, then roll the wrap starting from one end to the other, sealing the edge with a bit of water if needed. Repeat with the remaining wraps and filling.
