Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 medium Avocado, diced
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium Tomato, diced
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Place about 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on the parchment paper and spread it into a thin circle, about 4 inches in diameter. Repeat this step, leaving enough space between each cheese circle.

Step 3

Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and the edges are beginning to brown.

Step 4

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the cheese to cool for about 1-2 minutes, then gently peel each cheese circle off the parchment paper and hang it over a thick wooden spoon handle or taco stand to shape them into taco shells. Let them cool and harden.

Step 5

While the cheese shells cool, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 6

Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning to the beef. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the meat is fully coated with the seasoning.

Step 7

To assemble, place the beef mixture into each cheese shell, then top with diced avocado, a dollop of sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and chopped cilantro.

Step 8

Serve immediately for the best texture and enjoy your Keto Crispy Fried Tacos!
