Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 whole red chili, dried
  • 0.25 teaspoon asafoetida

Directions

Step 1

In a blender, combine the grated coconut, green chili, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, and salt.

Step 2

Add the lemon juice and 1/4 cup of water, then blend the mixture until you achieve a smooth consistency. Add extra water if needed, but ensure the chutney is thick.

Step 3

Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl.

For the tempering, heat the coconut oil in a small pan over medium heat.
