Ingredients

  • 1 pound Beef sirloin steak
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce (Tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the beef sirloin steak against the grain into bite-sized strips. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic cloves, and grated fresh ginger. Marinate the beef strips in this mixture for at least 15 minutes.

Step 3

While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables. Slice the green and red bell peppers into thin strips. Trim the broccoli into bite-size florets.

Step 4

Heat the olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef strips, reserving the marinade. Stir-fry the beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned but not completely cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
