Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium Tomato, sliced
  • 2 pieces Cheddar cheese slices
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise

Directions

Step 1

Place the chicken breasts between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch using a meat mallet.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

Step 3

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
