Ingredients

  • 12 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.

Step 2

In a large saucepan, melt the butter and heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped garlic to the saucepan and sauté gently for about 5 minutes, or until the garlic is soft and fragrant, making sure it does not brown.
