Directions

Step 1

Fill a large stockpot with 8 quarts of water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat.

Add the sea salt, halved lemons, bay leaves, black peppercorns, and crushed garlic to the boiling water. Stir well to dissolve the salt and incorporate the flavors.
