Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Almond flour
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands or a spatula until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.

Step 3

Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. You should get about 12 meatballs.

Step 4

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, searing them on all sides for about 8 minutes, until they are browned but not fully cooked.

Step 5

Once all meatballs are seared, transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for an additional 12 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked through.

Step 6

Remove the skillet from the oven, and let the meatballs rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Step 7

Serve the meatballs warm, alongside a fresh garden salad, zucchini noodles, or with your favorite low-carb marinara sauce.
