Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cups Fresh spinach
  • 4 slices Tomato slices
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 slices Bacon strips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

Step 3

Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

Step 4

Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add fresh spinach and sauté for 1-2 minutes until wilted.

Place the sautéed spinach evenly over the seared chicken breasts.

Top each chicken breast with two tomato slices.

Cook the bacon in a separate pan until crispy, then drain excess fat and place two strips on top of each chicken breast.
