  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Begin by preparing the onions: slice the yellow onions thinly.

Step 2

In a large non-stick frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted, add the sliced onions.

Stir the onions to coat them in the butter and oil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook the onions slowly, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes until they are golden brown and caramelized.
