Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground beef
  • 120 grams Almond flour
  • 150 grams Mozzarella cheese
  • 30 grams Cream cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Step 2

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the chopped onion and minced garlic until they are softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 3

Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with half of the salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Stir in the chopped parsley and remove from heat. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 4

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for about 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until fully melted and combined. Stir in the almond flour, egg, and the remaining salt to form a dough.

Step 5

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion between two sheets of parchment paper into a thin circle, about 15 cm (6 inches) in diameter.

Step 6

Spoon a portion of the beef mixture onto one-half of each dough circle, leaving a small border. Fold the dough over the filling to create a semicircle, pressing the edges together to seal. Use the tines of a fork to crimp the edges.

Step 7

Place the chebureks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and crisp.
