Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef (80% lean)
  • 50 grams almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 pieces green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 tablespoons ghee or avocado oil

Directions

Step 1

Toast the cumin and coriander seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until they are fragrant, about 2 minutes. Allow them to cool, then crush them using a mortar and pestle or spice grinder.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, toasted spices, red chili flakes, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green chilies, chopped onion, chopped tomato, and chopped cilantro.

Step 3

Add the egg to the mixture and mix everything thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 4

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a flat patty, about 1 inch thick.

Step 5

Heat ghee or avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 6

Fry the patties in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes or until the kababs are browned and fully cooked through.

Step 7

Remove the kababs from the skillet and place them on paper towels to remove any excess oil.

Step 8

Serve hot with a side of keto-friendly salad or a yogurt dip.
