Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 1 whole Jalapeño, sliced
  • 1 whole Avocado
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 whole Lime
  • 8 pieces Almond flour tortillas

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

Step 3

Rub the brisket with the olive oil and then coat evenly with the spice mixture.

In a large ovenproof pot or Dutch oven, place the brisket and pour in the beef broth and coconut aminos around the meat.

Add the sliced jalapeño to the liquid.

Cover the pot with a lid and place it in the preheated oven.
