Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef brisket
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado oil
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese slices
  • 4 leaves Butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium, sliced Tomato
  • 4 slices Pickles
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef brisket with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until all ingredients are just combined.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty roughly 3/4 inch thick.

Step 3

Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Add the brisket patties to the skillet and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Step 5

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty, allowing it to melt.

Step 6

While patties are cooking, prepare your burger fillings: wash the butter lettuce leaves, slice the tomato, and prepare the pickles.

Step 7

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard to make the burger sauce.

Step 8

To assemble, lay a lettuce leaf on a plate, place the cheese-topped brisket patty on it, add a slice of tomato, 1 or 2 pickles, and a dollop of the sauce.

Step 9

Top with another lettuce leaf and serve immediately.

Step 10

Enjoy your keto brisket burger warm, wrapped in the lettuce leaves.
