Ingredients

  • 500 g beef sirloin
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 30 ml sesame oil
  • 3 pieces bell peppers
  • 4 pieces garlic cloves
  • 10 g fresh ginger
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Begin by slicing the beef sirloin into thin strips, approximately 1/4 inch thick and place them in a bowl.

Step 2

Add 30 ml of soy sauce and 15 ml of sesame oil to the beef strips. Toss well to ensure the beef is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Step 3

While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables. Slice the bell peppers into thin strips and finely mince the garlic cloves and fresh ginger. Cut the green onions into small 1-inch pieces.

Step 4

Heat 15 ml of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Once the oil is hot, add the marinated beef strips and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the meat is browned and nearly cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
