Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large Avocado, sliced
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 whole Lime, cut into wedges

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-5 minutes.

Step 4

Stir in the cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Remove from heat.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Place small piles of shredded cheddar cheese (about 1/4 cup each, flattened into thin circles) onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each pile.
