Ingredients

  • 450 grams beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 60 ml coconut aminos
  • 15 ml sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium zucchini, spiralized
  • 3 stalks green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine the beef slices with coconut aminos, sesame oil, minced ginger, and garlic. Stir to coat and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes while preparing the other ingredients.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the beef is cooked through and has browned slightly. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

Step 3

In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the red bell pepper slices and stir-fry for about 3 minutes until they start to soften.

Step 4

Add the spiralized zucchini and return the cooked beef to the pan. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the zucchini noodles are tender but still slightly crisp.

Step 5

Stir in the sliced green onions and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Step 6

Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve hot. Enjoy your keto-friendly beef chow mein!
