Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the bacon until crispy, approximately 5-6 minutes. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving bacon grease in the pan.
In the same skillet, add butter to the bacon grease and melt over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove mushrooms from the skillet and set aside.
