Ingredients

  • 455 g ground beef (80% lean)
  • 4 slices bacon slices
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese slices
  • 4 large leaves lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium, sliced tomato
  • 8 slices pickle slices
  • 60 ml mayonnaise
  • 15 ml yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 15 g butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add the bacon slices. Cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove bacon and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently and divide into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty slightly larger than a cheese slice.

Step 3

In the same skillet used for the bacon, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef patties to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on the first side.
