  • 2 tablespoons Coarse sugar (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.

Add the cold, cubed unsalted butter to the bowl. Use a pastry cutter or your fingertips to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
