Place the eggs in a single layer in a large saucepan. Fill the pan with cold water until the eggs are covered by about 1 inch of water.
Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan, remove it from heat, and let the eggs sit for 10 minutes.
Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let cool for 5 minutes.
Carefully crack and peel the eggs under cold running water. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
Slice each egg in half lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a small mixing bowl. Arrange the egg whites on a serving platter, cut side up.
Mash the yolks with a fork until crumbly. Mix in the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and ground black pepper until smooth and creamy.
