Ingredients

  • 2 racks Pork baby back ribs
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups Barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 roll Aluminum foil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Step 2

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Use a knife to lift one corner of the membrane, then grab it with a paper towel and pull it away from the ribs.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and brown sugar to create the dry rub.

Step 4

Pat the ribs dry with paper towels, then evenly coat both sides of the ribs with the dry rub.

Step 5

Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil to create a sealed packet. Place the foil-wrapped ribs on a large baking sheet, bone-side down.

Step 6

Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours. This will make the ribs tender and juicy.

Step 7

While the ribs are baking, prepare the BBQ glaze by mixing the barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside.

Step 8

After 2.5 hours, carefully remove the ribs from the oven and unwrap the foil. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).

Step 9

Brush a generous amount of the BBQ glaze onto both sides of the ribs. Return the ribs (unwrapped) to the baking sheet, meaty-side up.

Step 10

Bake the ribs for an additional 20-30 minutes, brushing with more BBQ glaze every 10 minutes until the glaze caramelizes and becomes sticky.

Step 11

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes. Slice between the bones to serve and enjoy!
